Todays the day its 2022 and you are excited to start your weight loss journey but you are confused on how to start and even asking yourself why it will be worth it. Weight loss can help you in multiple avenues in life more confidence, more energy, higher sex drive, an excuse to buy new clothes, and building a better improved mindset that can carry over to way past fitness. I have a suggestion to you do not rush this new year progress you have been 20,50,75,100 plus pounds overweight for years and years on end so why do you need to lose all 20-50 lbs. in 3 months? Lose 1-2 lbs. a week even less then that if needed to be sustainable and stay consistent with that weight loss for the full year. let's do some boring math really fast .5 pounds lost a week is 2 pounds lost a month do the every single month and that is 24 pounds lost forever in a year or you can do this example like most people do lose 30 lbs. in 6 weeks gain 29 back because they burn themselves out then lose another 20 pounds to gain 25 back when they lose the motivation and then eventually they might lose a total of 10 lbs. for the year with all of the extra bullshit involved in stead of eating foods they loved and taking it slow.

Weight loss is very simple eat in a slight caloric deficit and move more than you are use to. You can plug in your information here and it will tell you what your maintenance calories are and then just click on the tab that says cutting it'll give you calories to follow and boom you will lose 1 pound of fat a week add 250 extra calories to that if you want to lose .5 lbs. a week and take away 250 calories from it if you want to lose 1.5 lbs. a week. A weight loss / personal trainer is not needed if you can keep the motivation yourself, but they take the guess work out of everything and build a program specifically for you as they learn how your body adapts over time!
